Content checks

See how each article measures up to the ones that rank.

Every article CitedSEO writes is compared with the pages ranking for its search: the topics they cover, the questions they answer, and how directly they answer them. You get real numbers next to the range the ranking pages fall in, and a list of exactly what’s missing. No made-up grade.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. Open an article

Any article CitedSEO wrote. The measures sit beside it, for the search it was written for.

  2. It reads the top results

The pages ranking in the top 10, and the sections and questions they share.

  3. See the gaps

What’s missing, in plain words, and what was checked before it shipped.

What’s missing

Your article next to the ones that win.

The sections and questions the top results share, each checked against your article, with anything missing listed.

Why is there no single score?

A grade out of 100 can’t be explained and is easy to game. Each number we show is measured from the page and sits next to the range the ranking pages fall in, so you can see why it matters.

Is it just counting keywords?

No. It compares the topics and questions pages cover, not how often a word appears. Stuffing in keywords won’t help.

Does every article CitedSEO writes get checked?

Yes. Every draft is measured against the pages that rank before it reaches you, and every refresh shows the numbers before and after.

Can I check a page CitedSEO didn’t write?

No. The measures appear on articles CitedSEO wrote. For a page of your own, the free on-page SEO audit checks one page at a time.
