Get in touchHow do you know a visit came from AI?
When someone clicks a source in an AI answer, most assistants pass their address along as the referrer, like chatgpt.com or perplexity.ai. We group visits by those referrers.
Does it include Google’s AI Overviews?
No. Clicks from AI Overviews and AI Mode arrive as normal Google traffic, so they can’t be separated in analytics. Those show up in rank tracking and AI visibility tracking instead.
Why are the numbers small?
AI visits are often a small share of a site’s traffic, and what you see is a floor: ChatGPT’s app often hides where a visit came from. Seeing which pages earn them tells you what AI trusts on your site.
