How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself.
It finds the low clickers
Articles we wrote with plenty of impressions and a click-through rate below what their position should get.
It writes a better title
A title and description that match what people searched for, fit on screen, and give them a reason to click.
It measures the change
Clicks and click-through rate before and after, so you know the new title earned its place.
Seen but not clicked
The pages wasting their impressions.
Each of our articles’ click-through rate is compared with what its position usually gets. The biggest gaps, with the most impressions, go to the top.

- Judged against position, so page two isn’t unfairly flagged

Get in touchIs changing titles risky?
It can be if the new title drifts from what the page ranks for. CitedSEO keeps the searches the page already wins in the title, and shows the click rate before and after. The old title is kept, so you can put it back in one click.
How long until I see a difference?
Google usually picks up a new title within days. We measure four weeks after the change, because a few days is too noisy.
Does Google use my title?
Not always. Google rewrites titles it thinks don’t match the page. Accurate titles of the right length are the most likely to be kept.
Does it change titles on my own pages?
No. It only changes titles and descriptions on articles CitedSEO wrote.
Can it run on its own?
Yes. Titles and descriptions are a common first thing to put on autopilot, because they’re small changes and easy to undo.
