Get in touchIs it free?
Yes. You see the score and each area straight away. Leave your email for every fix with what we found, as a spreadsheet, and a link back to the report you can send to a client or developer, or save as a PDF.
What does the score mean?
How well the page follows on-page best practice for the search you entered, out of 100. It’s a guide to what to fix, not a prediction of where you’ll rank.
Which results is it compared with?
The top five Google results for your search in the United States, in English, read and counted the same way as your page. What they have is what they have, not proof of why they rank.
Where do the speed numbers come from?
Google’s PageSpeed Insights: a Lighthouse test on a phone, and real Chrome visitors’ numbers over the last 28 days when the page or site has enough of them. Too few visitors for real numbers isn’t counted against you.
How do you check links to the page?
We read up to ten pages of your site, picked from its sitemap, and say how many of them link to this one. It isn’t every page, so we never say nothing links to it.
Can I audit a competitor’s page?
Yes. Any public page works, which makes it handy for seeing what the pages above you do differently.
Does it change anything on my site?
No. It reads the page the way a search engine does. Nothing is installed and nothing is changed.
