Titles people actually click.
Tell us what the page is about and the search you want it to rank for. We write five titles and descriptions, each with a different angle, and measure each line against where Google cuts it.

How it works
Three steps, about ten seconds.
Describe the page
What it’s about and the search you’re after.
We write five options
Each one takes a different angle, like a question, a how-to or a comparison, from only what you told us.
Pick and paste
See each one as Google would cut it on desktop and mobile, then copy it into your CMS.
What it checks
What every title gets right.
Checked for fit
Measured in pixels, not just characters, with any line Google would cut flagged before you paste it.
What is this?Keyword up front
The search you’re after near the start, where people scan.
A reason to click
What the page gives the searcher, in their words.
What is this?A matching description
A description for each title that answers the search, measured on desktop and on a phone.
What is this?Mobile preview
How each one looks on a phone, where most searches happen.
No clickbait
No numbers, years or claims you didn’t give us. Clicks that bounce don’t help.
Opportunity queue
CitedSEO rewrites titles that get seen but not clicked.
It finds pages with plenty of impressions and few clicks in your Search Console, writes better titles and descriptions, and measures the change.

Get in touchHow long should a meta title be?
Google cuts titles at about 600 pixels, roughly 50 to 60 characters. We measure in pixels because wide letters like W take more room than narrow ones like i.
Does Google always use my title?
Not always. Google rewrites titles it thinks don’t match the page. A title that’s accurate, specific and the right length is the most likely to be kept.
Will my title look exactly like this in Google?
It’s an estimate. We measure each line with the widths Google cuts at, but Google sometimes rewrites titles or picks a different description from the page.
Do I need an email?
No. You can write up to 20 sets an hour, free.
