Keyword clusters
  • keywords

  • pages to write

  • pages covering more than one keyword

      How it works

      Three steps, a few minutes.

      1. Paste your keywords

One per line, from any tool or spreadsheet. Up to 100 at a time.

      2. We compare the results

We read Google’s top 10 for each keyword. Keywords that bring up the same pages go in the same group.

      3. Plan your pages

One page per group, with its main keyword, monthly searches and a suggested title.

      What it checks

      How the clusters are built.

      • Grouped by results

Keywords whose top 10 in Google share at least 4 pages, or that are the same words in another order, share a page.

        What is this?
      • A main keyword

The biggest search in each group, to build the page around.

      • Monthly searches

Each keyword’s US monthly searches, added up for the page. Some people make more than one of them.

      • Intent

Whether people searching the main keyword want to learn, compare or buy, as measured for it.

        What is this?
      • No cannibalisation

Fewer pages fighting over the same search.

        What is this?
      • A title for each page

A suggested title written from the group’s keywords, with nothing in it they don’t say.

      Opportunity queue

CitedSEO plans and writes the clusters for you.

It builds topic clusters from your Search Console, writes the pages you’re missing, links them to each other, and keeps them up to date.

      Is it free?

Yes. You see the first pages straight away. Leave your email for the full plan as a spreadsheet.

Why group by search results instead of by meaning?

Because Google decides what counts as the same search. If two keywords bring up the same pages, one page can rank for both. If they don’t, they usually need separate pages, however similar they sound.

How many keywords can I paste?

Up to 100 at a time, one per line. Repeats count once. 100 keywords usually take two to three minutes, since we read Google for each one.

What if a keyword can’t be grouped?

It’s listed under Not grouped, with why: we couldn’t read Google for it, or Google showed no pages. Every keyword you paste is either in a page or in that list.
