Internal linking
Every article linked to the pages it should be.
CitedSEO reads every page on your site, so each article it writes links to the pages that matter, in sentences that read naturally. When one of its articles has few links in, or isn’t linked to its topic’s pillar page, links from its related articles land in your queue.

A walkthrough of internal linking on a demo site, from connecting your site to the first result.
How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself.
It maps your site
Every published page, what it’s about, and every link between them.
It finds the missing links
Articles of ours that few pages link to, links up to each topic’s pillar page, and links to pages that have gone.
It adds them in context
Each link goes into a sentence in one of our articles, with natural anchor text. Approve it, or put links on autopilot.
Orphan pages
No article left without links.
An article few pages link to is hard for Google and readers to find. When one of ours has fewer than three, a link fix lands in your queue with links from our related articles.
- Every one listed, with where the links will go
- Links come only from articles about the same thing
- Turn on autopilot for links and they ship without asking
- /no-knead-focaccia6 links ready
- /how-to-freeze-bread-dough4 links ready

Once your starter is lively, it’s ready for an easy first bake like this no-knead focaccia.
Proof it worked
See every link counted.
Every batch of links is marked on your Google chart the day it went live, and counted once Google has read the page again.
- Marked on the chart the day it went live
- Pages linking in, counted after Google reads it again
- Never claimed as clicks

What is this?Links inside sentences
Placed in a sentence in the article, not tacked on as a list.
What is this?Only related pages
A link is suggested only between pages about the same thing, so a reader would want to follow it.
Topic clusters
Each article linked to its topic’s guide and to its neighbours.
What is this?Easy to undo
Any link we add can be taken out again in one click.
Sensible limits
At most three new links from a page at a time, and never a second link to a page it already links to.

Still have a question?
Email us or book a quick call. Most replies land within a few hours.
Get in touchDoes it change my own posts?
No. Links are only added inside articles CitedSEO wrote. Those articles can link out to any of your pages, but your own posts are never edited.
Will it add too many links?
No. A page takes at most three new links at a time, never links twice to a page it already links to, and links stay out of headings, the answer box, tables and code.
Does every new article get linked too?
Each new article links to its pillar page and your related pages as it’s written. When few pages link to it, a link fix lands in your queue to add links from our related articles.
