Any site, any stack: webhook and feed.

How it connects

Connect once, then build on it.

  1. Add your endpoint

Paste the https address that should receive articles. We give you a signing secret, shown once.

  2. Check the signature

Every request is signed, so your endpoint can confirm it came from us before it does anything.

  3. Publish your way

Save the article to your database, rebuild your site, or pass it on. Or skip the webhook and read the feed.

What’s included

What you get.

  • Events

Article published, and article updated when a live article changes.

  • The full article

Title, HTML, Markdown, summary, slug, cover image, SEO fields and dates.

  • Signed requests

A signature header on every request, checked with your secret.

  • Retries

If your endpoint is down or slow, the same delivery is tried again a few times.

  • The feed

Every live article as static JSON, read with your site ID. No secret needed.

  • One delivery ID

Every try of a post carries the same ID, so your endpoint can do the work once.

When should I use the webhook instead of an SDK?

Use an SDK if your site runs on one of the frameworks we support. Use the webhook for anything else: another framework, your own CMS, or a tool that should know when you publish.

How do I check a request is really from you?

Each request carries a signature made with your secret. Compute it from the body on your side and compare. If they don’t match, ignore the request.

What if my endpoint is down?

We try again a few times, with a wait between tries. The article is live either way, so if your endpoint was down for a while, read the feed to catch up.

Does the feed need a key?

No. It holds only live articles, read with your site ID. Anything that changes data stays in the app, so nothing can be edited through the feed.
