What’s the difference between AI Mode and AI Overviews?

AI Overviews appear above normal results for some searches. AI Mode is Google’s separate chat-style search. We track both.

Which keywords are checked for AI Overviews?

The ones your site already shows up for in Search Console, so you see the AI answers on your own results.

Can an AI Overview take my clicks?

It can. When one appears above your result and your click rate drops, we flag it and suggest how to be the page it cites.
