Read your Search Console, then act on it

The steps

1. 1

   Open Performance in Search Console, set it to the last 28 days, and turn on average position.

   Filter for searches where you sit between positions 8 and 20. These are one improvement away from real clicks.

   For each, improve the page for that exact search: answer it sooner, add the missing section, link to it from related pages.

4. 4

   Sort pages by impressions and look for a low click rate. Write a clearer title and description for those.

   Look for searches you show up for with no page of their own. Each one is an article to write.
